I created this bizarre abstract wallpaper inspired by a Kuna Indian mola design of a sea turtle. This Indian tribe lives on remote islands off the coast of Panama. They create unusual textile appliqued designs inspired by local animals, plants and sea life. This design symbolizes a turtle with black and ivory lines. The original design is created by Virginia of the Vagabond Folk Art store, inspired by textiles made by the local Indians.
