Sew In Labels for Handmade Items
When you've spent hours of your time perfecting your handmade piece, why wouldn't you want to add custom craft labels to give it a professional edge and claim it as your own? With custom craft labels, you can create your own sew in labels for handmade items of any kind. With no minimum order and great wholesale discounts, available in packs of 20, 40, 100, or 200, you can order as many or as few as you like.
These woven craft labels are available in either flat or folded styles. The folded labels have a closed edge and a cut edge, with the cut edge to be sewn into your products. The flat labels have heat-sealed cut edges, designed to be folded in at the ends to achieve a skin side finish. Sealed so that they become non-fray, the labels are sent with a +1cm seam allowance.
Custom craft labels are available in 12 different sizes, ranging from small - enough to fit a logo on it - to much larger so that you can add text, care instructions, or even a personal message to your craft label design.

How Craft and Hobby Labels are Made
Your custom design is printed directly onto the woven satin, not embroidered, which gives you excellent colour reproduction and great readability for smaller details. Your print is penetrated deep into the fibres of the fabric using an infusion method, which results in a permanent design that will not fade, scratch off, or peel away.
Due to the production process that we use, there is the possibility of some seconds or borderline cases of labels. When this occurs we would automatically include these with your order (free of charge) in the hope that you might be able to make use of them. We feel that this is a much better solution than sending them straight to landfill. If you notice these cases within your order, it's worth checking as it's likely that they have been sent as extras rather than as part of your order.
Care instruction
Wash 40°c. Iron at 30°C maximum. Low heat tumble dry. Exceeding these settings can result in colour bleed.
Frequently asked questions:
How much can I fit onto the labels?
The amount that you can fit onto your fabric labels for crafts is dependant on the size of the labels you have chosen. The smaller sizes are perfect for when you just want to add a logo, but we'd advise larger labels if you want to add more, for example, text.
If I make the text smaller, can't I fit more on?
You can, however we would advise making sure that you use a font size of at least 10pt and that you use standard or heavy instead of a lightweight or fine font to make sure the legibility is as great as possible.
Can I avoid folding the edges of the flat labels?
You can choose to sew in labels for handmade items flat, however if you are doing so to a product intended to sit on the skin then we'd advise using scissors to cut the heat-sealed edges off; you will have a risk of fraying in this instance.
You have the amazing designs, however do you have the amazing place to sell?
