Make your own oven mitts and get creative in the kitchen. Printed with your original designs or branding, they're a unique twist on a classic cooking essential. Generously sized to cover your wrists and padded with a double layer of microfibre insulation, these are built to protect. Made from fire retardant and water resistant faux suede fabric, custom oven gloves are the best way to keep your hands safe when handling hot plates.
Made from the hero faux suede fabric, your custom oven gloves are fire rated and water resistant with a double layer of microfibre insulation. The separate thumb grip makes removing dishes from the oven easy, and the hanging loop allows you to maintain a tidy kitchen. These gloves offer the ultimate protection as they also cover your wrists, which sometimes get left unprotected and accidentally burnt.
You can make your own oven mitts as a pair, or simply choose a single right hand or left hand glove. Print your artwork or graphic designs on both sides to showcase your talent or brand. The material we use is non-fray, an important feature when it's to be used around food, and is printed using dye sublimation for permanent, long lasting colour. Please note, your oven mitts have been designed for ordinary kitchen purposes, namely for holding pots and pans up to 180°c momentarily.

How your Custom Oven Gloves are Made
Your unique designs are digitally printed onto a Suede Vision fabric which is then cut and stitched by expert seamstresses. We include a double layer of microfibre insulation to ensure it's fully padded and heat doesn't penetrate through. We hand-stitch a cream trip around the top of the opening and attach a handy loop so you can easily tidy it away. Everything is finished by hand to guarantee you receive a flawless kitchen accessory.
Sometimes, oven mitts can get splattered with food stains, so you'll be happy to know these are washing machine safe. Wash at 30°c or below to preserve the life of your print.
When you make your own oven mitts, consider the shape of the glove. If your artwork has a main subject, position it in the oblong part of the glove and avoid putting placing important details around the thumb grip in case they are lost in the stitching. To create your glove, we stitch the fabric together along the sides. If you're using the same pattern on both sides, please note that it won't be a seamless wrap around and may not join up, as the material is sewn at the sides.
Create the perfect kitchen aesthetic and make your own oven mitts. Using colours and patterns that match your interior style, they will complement the rest of the decor. You could even create a set printed with your signature recipes. Cooking inspiration will never be too far away when your mitts are hanging proudly in your kitchen.
Culinary classes, boutique bakeries, cuisine workshops - there's many businesses that would benefit from custom printed oven mitts. You can include your branding to distinguish yourself from competitors and make a lasting impression with customers. Elegantly printed with the name and logo, custom oven gloves help to establish reputation and provide staff with an addition to their personal uniform.
Selling your personal art doesn't have to be limited to framed prints. Whether you're an illustrator, painter, graphic designer or experiment with different mediums and styles, there's a market space waiting for you to join. Oven gloves printed with your artwork will appeal to an eclectic mix of people who want to inject personality into their kitchen.

What's the best resolution to print in?
We print at 200dpi, which is a good combination of quality and file weight. Ideally, your image should be scaled to 100% at 200dpi, this means that no resizing of your file occurs stopping any interpolation.
Should I save my file as a TIFF or JPEG?
For multi-coloured or very detailed files we recommend using a tiff format, but they must be flattened. For simple colours and low detail files, a jpeg is fine.
Which colour model should I choose? RGB or CMYK?
We advise providing images in the RGB colour space. Specifically using the sRGB image profile, to achieve best colour results. What does this mean? In your editing software choose RGB as the working space, and assign the image profile as sRGB (full name sRGB IEC61966-2.1)
What does GSM mean?
Grams per Square Meter (GSM) is an international standard for measuring the weight of paper or fabric. GSM uses the weight of a square meter (1000 x 1000mm) as an indication of the weight and thickness of a given fabric. We class 20-100gsm as light (summer fabrics, gauzes and fine silks), 101-249 gsm as medium (most clothing fabrics) and 250+ gsm as heavy (upholstery fabrics, and other specialist fabrics).
What are bleed areas?
When designing your product, it’s best to make sure that your image is slightly larger than needed. In printing, the extra printed image is referred to as a “Bleed Area” or margin, and it is removed from the finished piece. A bleed area acts as a buffer for slight inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. however, it’s important to fill your bleed areas completely, or you may end up with white, unprinted strips along the edge of your finished product.
Do you print on garments a customer supplies?
Unfortunately not. All our garments are printed on flat fabric and sewn into finished products, which gives a better-finished result and all-over print. We test meticulously so that we know what gets the best results on our fabrics, and our facilities cater perfectly to them. We do however print sublimation paper to order, so if you have access to a heat press you can press your fabrics or flat garments easily.
Can you Align a Pattern or design across panels of a garment?
We always strive for the greatest accuracy when printing and constructing your garments. However, due to unavoidable stretch or movement of the fabric during the stitching process, we cannot guarantee perfect pattern registration across garment seams. We are generally accurate within 2-3mm, which is close enough for most patterns but may show slight issues with detailed geometric patterns.
Can I print my own Labels?
Most of our garments now come with printable label space for you to add your own company information and branding. If you would like to sew in your own labels, we also offer Printed Fabric Labels here.
How is your fabric printing eco-friendly?
With environmental consciousness in mind, our fabrics are all printed using completely water-based inks. This means no chemicals or solvents are used. Our heat fixing procedure fixes the colours and prints, avoiding the downsides of steaming, such as excess or contaminated water returning into the waste system. We have one facility where we conduct all the printing, production and fulfilment.
Please note: As everything we provide is handmade to order, all measurements may vary slightly.
