Care instruction
Handwash only, hang to dry. Low heat iron.
Digital Printing on Organza
Printing on Organza fabric, one of our lightest fabrics. It's so sheer and is a light yet firm fabric, making it a gorgeous material to print on.
Surface textures
The fine surface of these organza fabrics is slightly textured to the touch. With a refined net/holed quality, the surface is transparent and creates a natural balance of catching and reflecting light. The feel to the fabric is identical on both sides, making it even all over.
Print detail
The sheer base provides an even print both for your colours and for the outline and detailing. The colour gets stronger when layered.
Usage
The characteristics of organza allows it to lend itself suitably to bridal wear, trim and accessories. It is also perfect for interfacing or for underlining other transparent fabrics, which perhaps require a slight firmness without weight.
Frequently asked questions on Organza 40gsm/Olivia Organza 100% Silk 23gsm (2-3 days):
Is this the lightest fabric you have?
The Olivia Organza weighs in at just 23gsm, making it one of the lightest fabrics to print on. The Lace Lucille has a more open structure with a web-like design. This poly organza is only 40gsm, meaning it's still incredibly lightweight.
Is this fabric very stretchy?
The custom printed organza fabric has a very fine, tight weave so it really doesn't allow much stretch at all. Our Florence Net is quite light and stretchy but less sheer with more drape.
What is the main use for the organza?
Organza is often used in evening wear, bridal wear, in dresses, blouses, and lingerie. Create your own pattern, then have a go and making something beautiful.
